Report Types

Composite Summaries

Composite Summaries include salaries, wages, departmental allotment, employee benefits, total expense and total income for each major grouping, such as Total University, Total University Less Penn College, University Park Colleges, Academic Support Units, Administrative Support Units, and Other Penn State Locations.

Composite Function Summaries

Composite Function Summaries include total expense and income for each major grouping, such as Total University, Total University Less Penn College, University Park Colleges, Academic Support Units, Administrative Support Units, and Other Penn State Locations, grouped into functions such as Institutional Support, Research, and Instruction. These reports can be accessed by clicking on "Function Summary Report" at the bottom of the Composite Summary Reports.

Administrative Area Department Summaries

Administrative Area Department Summaries include total expense and income for all departments within an Administrative Area and totals for the Administrative Area, such as the College of Agricultural Sciences.

Administrative Area Summaries

Administrative Area Summaries include salaries, wages, departmental allotment, employee benefits, total expense and total income for one Administrative Area such as the College of Agricultural Sciences. These reports are accessed by clicking on the word "Total" at the bottom of the Administrative Area Department Summary Reports.

Budget Listings for Administrative Area by Functions

Budget Listings for Administrative Area by Functions include expense and income for each budget within an Administrative Area, grouped into functions such as Institutional Support, Research, and Instruction. They also include total expense and income for each function and for the Administrative Area. These reports can be accessed by clicking on "List Budgets by Function Categories" at the bottom of the Administrative Area Department Summary Reports.

Department Summaries

Department Summaries include salaries, wages, departmental allotment, employee benefits, total expense and total income for one department such as Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology. These reports can be accessed by clicking on a department name on the Administrative Area Department Summary Reports.

Budget Listings for Department

Budget Listings for Department include for each budget within a department. They also include total expense and income for the department. These reports can be accessed by clicking on "List Budgets for this Department" at the bottom of the Department Summary Reports.
